Reporting that outlives the night

Forward this page to a brand or venue. It explains what every scanned photo proves, and what it never records.

A QR on a photo is table stakes. HM Camera’s difference: each scan reports which of your cameras shot that frame.

What a scan records

  • The event: which activation the code belongs to
  • The capturing device: which operator camera shot the photo
  • The guest’s copy: which delivered photo was scanned
  • Time: when the scan happened
  • Country: approximate country from the request

What it never records

  • The scanner’s identity: no name, no email, no account
  • Precise location or device fingerprinting for ads
  • Cross-app advertising or “tracking” in the App Store sense

The scan is counted. The person who opened the camera on the print is never identified.

Months later

The code keeps working after teardown

Scans continue to count long after the event ends. Hand a sponsor a CSV that shows engagement from the photo they paid to put in someone’s hand.

Event analytics

Open the event in HM Camera and see scan activity without leaving the operator app.

CSV export

Export a spreadsheet built to forward: event, device, guest copy, time, country.

Device attribution

Compare cameras on a multi-device crew. Know which shooter produced the scans that matter.
